I’ve only ever harvested/processed roosters so I don’t know if hens also have that little pokey thing or if it’s only roosters. This is a picture of a rooster.
I’m asking because my chick who I wing/feather sexed as male has that, but all other chicks don’t and I wing/feather sexed them as females a week or so ago. But if it’s all pure coincidence then that’s good to know too.
