Do hens know enough to get out of the sun?

Just wondering if hens know enough to not overheat in the sun. I have a hen sunbathing/dirtbathing in the sun and she is panting while doing! The others were there but have sought shade already! Will she leave on her own?

Taking dust baths is a way to cool off for them, they like to dig down deep to get cooler dirt. I have my dirt boxes in the shade, maybe you need to provide one where they can bathe and not be under the sun. They can use the one she is in for days where it is not so hot.
