I remove Chicks to the brooder as they dry..
Yes...The Chicks when hatching cause lots of humidity tooIt’s a circulated air I just saw during hatch to have it in the 70s I didn’t know it depended on the incubator. So do I take the paper towel out?
Did the green stuff look like this? If so, that is their normal first poop. Sometimes when they take a long time to hatch they poop in their egg.Something green came out of it’s behind but it’s moving all around the incubator.![]()
Glad you got it out and that they are well. Just wanted to let you know what the green stuff was in case you were worried. I'm always very excited when I see their first green poop because it means their digestive tract is working! Congrats on your new chicks!ThankYes it did but they’re doing good now. I moved the two dry chicks from yesterday so now it’s only the two new wet babies in it. There is egg stuck to the one though but it’s doing fine regardless of that.![]()
