Do I dare not buy the quart jar that comes as an add on to the feeder and waterer base from Jeffers?

Can I use any quart jar with this base? Does anyone know if the lip measurements are the same with a quart canning jar???

Yes, they will fit a regular wide mouth canning jar. Sometimes I use the heavier glass ones if I have a rowdy bunch because it is harder to tip over.
By the way... I have been looking up rules and regs for STX for shipping eggs, and you can get eggs from NPIP breeders, just say if you ever wanted to have someone ship you eggs... just saying...

Would LOVE to have eggs if I could be guaranteed only hens

Not allowed to even have hens in my neighborhood - but I'm going to do it anyway.....
