Do I Feed Grit

Our family is new to chicken keeping. We have a coop and a small flock. We have 2 Buffs that just started laying and 4 smaller chicks that are about 3 months old. I know not to give the smaller chicks layer ration so we have their chick food down lower and some pullet food up higher for the older ones. We have oyster shell in a bowl outside in the run. We have been giving them all scraps from our table recently do we need to be providing grit? If so how do we do that? Our coop is 6 x 4 and the run is a large 20 x 6 with a dirt floor. Would they be able to get rocks from the floor for grit? Here is pic of our coop and run before we completed it and added the new pullets:
