What is the age? Looks like a lot of feathers on its head. Toms go bald with a few hairs only usually by the time they are 4 months old.

Hens are known to strut and display just like toms.

A tom's snood will extend well below the end of its beak. I have had hens whose snoods would expand to reach the end of their beaks but no farther.

I'm no expert on turkeys but it looks like a very young male to me....judging by the major caruncles, hens typically don't have caruncles that big!

In my opinion, it isn't old enough to sex from photos. A whole lot depends on the age of the turkey in question. If it is 2 months old, it is too young to sex from photos. If it is 4 months old and still has that many feathers on its head, it is likely not a male.

I have had turkey hens with bigger caruncles than those when aroused. The same goes with hen's snoods. I have had hens whose snoods would reach the end of their bills when they were aroused.
