Bought these about 4weeks back from tsc. I'm thinking a cockerel and pullet unless the one on the right is a really slow developer! Thoughts and opinions?

I was hoping the one on the right might end up a pullet. The comb is more black than anything and smaller than the other. Guess I'll wait for the crow or egg lolBoth appear to be little cockerels.
For four weeks, the obvious cockerel has a very well developed comb.I was hoping the one on the right might end up a pullet. The comb is more black than anything and smaller than the other. Guess I'll wait for the crow or egg lol
Literaly about to say same thing xxFor four weeks, the obvious cockerel has a very well developed comb.
The smaller combed bird still has a bigger comb than I would expect of a pullet.
Time will tell.
Hopefully you get one pullet.
Hopefully so. The silkies were bought as pets for the kids. These 2 are for my daughters and the itty bitty one my son chose. All the chicks have outgrown it, currently it is housed with the chicks a week younger and they are bigger than it now.For four weeks, the obvious cockerel has a very well developed comb.

You never know with Silkies! My gorgeous cockerel was called ugly Jane when he was a chick.Hopefully so. The silkies were bought as pets for the kids. I'm not holding my breath though![]()
