"She" is only three weeks old and look at that comb that is coming in. What do you guys think? Do I have a rooster on my hands? Is there still hope for a hen?

Based on my limited experiance, I think that it is too early to tell. My single combed babies tended to get bigger combs faster but it didn't indicate the gender. My gut says you have hope.

Yay! I'm hoping that this is just because she has a single comb, like yours. I don't know what I'll do If she isn't a girl:(

Does anyone have any idea what breed she is? All I know is that she lays brown eggs (I got her from the assorted brown egg layers section on My Pet Chicken

I'm leaning towards "her" being a rooster, but I'm not sure on breed. Maybe some sort of production red?

Looks like a cockerel to me (but it is too young to tell for sure). The breed looks like Buff Orpington.

I'm leaning towards rooster because of the comb and wattles coming in.
