There is no difference in the quality or taste of fertilized eggs and non-fertile ones. You will not have chicks developing unless the eggs are incubated. As long as you gather them every day, you will not have to worry about that.

I've never had 2 roosters at once, full grown. Right now, I have 4, but they're only 16 weeks old right now, haven't really hit puberty yet. The thing I do know is, you need enough hens for them. They'll stress your hens out breeding them too much if you don't have enough.Welll ****! I'm fairly new to this (6mons) so not sure how to deal with roosters. I always hear bad things. If we only have one rooster that should help with any territorial issues (fighting and such) right? We're in the heart of downtown but I don't think our neighbors would be bothered by the crowing. But how do we properly handle fertilization of eggs, we want to avoid that for now. If thats going to be a real issue, we're just going to get the breeder to trade them out for us for hens.
