Do I have a rooster?

This is my 19 week old australorp.. who is huge! I have a feeling she is a he but have not had much experience with this before so i am not entirely sure. Appart from the huge size and long tail there have been no other behavours or signs of a rooster. No crowing, pestering chickens etc. At what age are they meant to show this anyway? Is she a he?

Yep, you guessed it right, she is a HE.

You can tell because of how big his comb and wattles are at his age and by the appearance of the long sickle feathers(the tail feathers).

I have been learning from BYC!!! Also I have bought to many pullets only to have them grow up to be a roosters

hmm thought so. When well he show any other signs like crowing etc? Why hasnt he yet?

mine all crowed around 4 months and older! Spurs start around 7-8 months.

I have had some roosters wait until 7 months to crow. He will when he is ready.
