Do I have a rooster?

That's my pullet BO in my avitar picture. I can totally tell my roo and my pullet at 8 wks old. My roo has red waddles is a bit smaller then the pullet, also, redness in his comb and my pullet doesn't have redness and she's always been a bit bigger. Post picture and we can help I mean I guess picture of anyone who's different.

Thanks! I forgot to take the picture today, it is almost dark now and they are locked up in the hen house already.

Hi!
I agree with the posts above. Being agreesive is not really a rooster’s behavior. If *he* has a large red comb and waddles, as well as a long greenish tail, and streamers. (Streamers are long feather-like streams going from their head to their neck)
Hope this helps!

I wouldn't use that as an indicator of male or female plumage. Any bird (not just chickens) that have black feathers will have a greenish to purplish sheen.

True. The tail will be long and could be any color. I was just saying green as it is the most typical and common color and recognizable from my experiences.
Thanks for clarifying.

Here is a picture of my friend’s 6 week old Millie Fluer D’uccle cockerel. This should help compare even though it’s a different breed.

Thanks! Ok, yes, that comb seems way bigger than my chickens combs. I'll go out and take pictures asap.
