since my welsummer was a rooster i took him back for a new one.... its 7 weeks imtold its a hen but tge first one was sposed to be a hen....

Did it have eyeliner? In any case, males have the trademarked dark chests that yours is displaying. That on top of the big red comb at this age is indicative of a rooster. You have a rooster welsummer. Sorry.

Yes welsummer is a Roo, and the turken is a hen, still not sure on the newer welsummer

Can you post some updated photos of your young Welsummer? Pullets feather in with rosey brown on the chest. Males feather in black on the chest.

The turken layed her first egg and the older welsummer is Starting to crow, im hoping the chick is a hen But im not sure

From what I can see of the chest, it looks like a pullet.
