Ok, reading some posts about broodys, and now I need to double check that I'm doing it right,
LOL
We're on day 7. I have momma in a med. size dog crate with a good 4 - 6 inches of fresh straw in there. Plenty of room, and a small dish of water and medicated chick feed within beak's reach.
She's a banty sitting on 8 polish eggs and all are covered.
I've put her in the barn, off in a corner with the cage door facing an interior wall (so nothing can get at her). But it is spring, so it's cool in there. Should I have her somewhere warmer? I get her out once a day to poo and stretch her legs and eat some grass. And she's not complaining about her quarters or anything - I'm just spooked and need some reassurance.
