Do I have my Button Quail Colors Correct? Better-ish pics added.

I'm using my own color chart.

The zebrafinch ones are good but not quite complete. The chick color links are far more useful and there are some good pics if you get Garrie's book but spotting the difference between ivory versus cinnamon or silver and slate versus silver you can't really pick up looking at pics. I spent weeks googling and puzzling over my first batch of ivories. Same thing with blue versus red breasted feather markings. My flock did not have the genes for blue breasted until this last batch of shipped eggs or I probably would not have noticed. After I added the blue breasteds that hatched from those shipped eggs I suddenly had silvers and cinnamons with lines down their feathers instead of barring and I wondered why. Finally figured out it had to be the difference in those 2 genes. I just don't know what colors it carries through to yet.

LOL, I've been going back and forth between like 3 color chart sites, and that just go me more confused, that's why I turned to you all.

LOL I do that too. Garrie rules. I would say if that is information you got from Garrie it is 100% right. I don't think anyone in the US knows more. If one can't get Garrie next best is Don for sure!

Blue breasted is wild type. I mentioned that earlier. People just give various names to the original wild color which gets confusing. That's why buttons are also called blue breasted quail by some.

I guess that is why I stick to color names used by Garrie they are the standard here in the states and don't serve to muddy the waters. In your post it sounded like a color mutation on the wild color rather then just normal wild color. I think the colors of Buttons can be debated until the end of time so I am just going to leave it at this
