I believe your luck was worse than mine . I ended up with 3-5 Cockerels.

I just got 6 silkie babies recently, had the breeder pick them out because of my luck .

once I hatched 9 eggs, 6 roos to 3 pullets.... but you win, worst luck, no eggs from these birds.

Last time I got chicks from TS I got all males. They had a bunch in a straight run marked down to a buck. I got six because what the heck, a buck each. All Roos. I couldn’t believe it. Got rid of them all once they were full grown.

Actually it was quite funny because I turned them all loose in the yard and it was like a pack of raptors roaming the yard. They hung out together and would run up to me every time I got home or went outside.

Yeah, I suppose if they're not protecting a flock they can be quite sweet! The crowing's a bloody nuisance, though! ;D
