Good Morning Everyone!
I have two recently hatched chicks that are showing signs similar to spraddle leg (they are not quite 24 hours old). Their legs are not spread out wide like spraddle leg but rather they are placing their weight on their bottoms so that when they move their legs (which they are actively trying to do) they are simply extending their legs too far forward and paddling away ineffectively.
It seems to me that they need to learn to bend their legs at the elbow and learn to put their legs under themselves not forward... but how to help them with this.
Ideas would be welcome!!
