Do I have the worlds smartest hens?

So, I have these fake eggs that I put in my hens laying nests that pretty much show them where to lay. My hens lay brown, white and blue. I have mostly brown fake eggs but I have 2 blue fake eggs because we thought it would be cute and funny. Recently a family member went out to collect the eggs and accidentally took some fake eggs, leaving a single blue fake egg in one nest, and a single brown eggs in another. The next day I went out to collect the eggs and found that the Easter Eggers had laid their blue eggs with the blue fake egg, and my other hens had laid their brown eggs with the brown fake egg. Not one blue egg was in the "brown egg nest" and not one brown egg was in the "blue egg nest". Does anyone else's hens do this? Do the hens know what color eggs they lay and did it on purpose?

Yes, to both questions...The hens did it on purpose...Yes, they knew the colors...How did the "fake" scrambled eggs taste?...Or did you all catch the mistake before cooking them?
