Do I have to give my quail grit?

I'm in a position where I have to feed my quail a "mixed" food in order to get the protein to where it needs to be. Part of this mixture has seeds (millet, popcorn, safflower, sunflower, and milo). Should I also now get them grit because there's some seed in their diet? Thanks.

I know little about quail, but experience with many other species would seem to indicate that you should offer grit. Pigeon grit would be of an appropriate size.

Probably but I did not feed my quails grit when they were chicks but you'll have to make this grit extremely small otherwise they will choke and die on it.
