Do I have to separate my peacocks during mating season?

Good morning!

I've had my peafowl flock for a little over a year and a half now.. they were young when I got them so this Spring/Summer will be their first mating season. I have three peacocks - two IB and one IB BS, and three peahens - two IB and one IB BS.

They all get along great but I've read that peacocks can and will become aggressive during mating season.. I haven't seen any chasing or fighting yet but one of my peacocks has started to "call". Is it absolutely necessary to separate them? Or will they be fine since they have been raised together?

Any and all advice would be appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Keep an eye on them, Ive seen them get along one day and hate each other the next, kinda like people.

Are they free range or penned? If free range then there's nothing you can really do to separate them nor would you need to. Penned it would be best. Penned males can't always get away from each other.

... They are of the same blood .... siblings?
I'm not sure - there's a chance four out of six of them could be related as I got them from the same breeder, but she has about 50 birds so who knows.. the other two came from two different people in OH.
