Do I help the chick? NEED ANSWERS QUICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

One of my chicks is completely hatched and another one is having troubles. It moves every once and a while but not getting anywhere its been trying for over 24 hours do i need to break alittle bitt of the egg to help it?

It has a medium size hole but just enough to stick it beak thourgh.

You can help the chick, but at great risk of it dieing anyways. I usually let nature take its course, and see what happens. Almost all the chicks i used to help hatch ended up dieing or deformed.

I just helped it a little and it managed to get out it fine but i think it still has its umbilical cord to i cut it off or what?

Do not pull or cut it. It will harm the chick. It will fall off naturally.

the chick pulled it off by dragging it around is that bad?

I don't think so, it would probaby do the same in the wild. I hope it turns out ok, i helped mine and she is perfectly heathy and happy ( just a bit small is all )
