Do I kick her off the nest?

I have a broody hen. I don't know how often she gets off the nest to eat/drink. Do I force her off every once in a while to make sure she doesn't kill herself? Or will she know and do it herself? Someone told me once (from this forum I think) that hens can kill themselves by never leaving the nest to eat or drink.

I leave them alone and make sure food and water is close by. They will eat and drink when needed.
