Do I leave my Rooster with my 2 hens?

I have a Ringneck Rooster in with 2 hens in about a 6x12 pen. I plan on letting the hens brood the chicks and raise them. Do I have to take my rooster out at any point? Does he help the mother raise the eggs if not, I may have to take him out for space?

Take him out of if you can, most ringneck aren't reliable setters tho, I would artificially incubate if possible

I agree with Kevin. Collect and incubate some of the eggs and then let the hens build a clutch 'hoping' that they will successfully raise a brood themselves.

I would take the first 20 eggs or so and incubate them.Then see if she will set on the next 10 eggs.If she doesn't set by day 15,you wll have to incubate.If she does set.make sure all the holes in your pen are sealed as the chicks will run at first sight of you and will disappear.
