This is my rooster flock, and in the left foreground, my 3.2 yo Australorp rooster. He is not fat, just big boned, extra fluffy, also the picture has been taken from an unflattering angle.

He is healthy, loves to eat and as swift as a young cockerel when confront by the top rooster.

I think he is healthier after been dethroned, since he has to practice turbo retreat repeatedly, he is getting quite good at it.

In fact this picture is quite awkward, you can even see his dirty butt.

So ..

Yeah! :highfive:

Now, I would like to draw your attention to my hen flock.

In the front of this picture is Lil Bull, my beloved (Australorp mix? Sapphire Gem?) hen. She is the top chicken amongst the hens her age and the only hen who dares to (lightly) peck my hand when she feels that she is not getting her fair share of food when I hand feed my flock.

When she was young, she liked to stand tall, towering over her siblings, so she could look down upon them:

This chicken makes me understand, that confidence is not about age, regardless of the size or even being what breed. It's not about beauty, or even if you are half bald (being a slow feathering chick).

Confidence is about you, being you!

He's beautiful, as are all of your chickens, but I'm sorry, when I read this, I thought of this meme I had. If he's got a complex, you could show it to him. :)
