Do I need a heat light when it's hot at night?(Baby Chicks)

Well,the title says it all
My first post EVER

Welcome! I use the Brinsea Ecoglow brooder. That way they can sleep out from under it if it is warm or go inside if they feel they need it. In warm weather I take it away faster. I have some three and four week olds and they graduated to a heat lamp. They are still in the house and it is turned off. They've also feathered pretty quickly so that is something to take into consideration.

Make sure you give them fresh water daily, possibly twice daily so that with the heat algae doesn't start to grow. The freshest water the better on a regular basis. Even once they mature into full grown chickens.
