Do I need a licence to keep bobwhite quail in Ontario

I recently got 2 Mexican speckled bobwhite quail and I know I need a licence to own northern bobwhite quail in Ontario but do I need one for all bobwhite?

The general rule of thumb is, if it's native to the continent, you need a permit. You should probably contact your local game & fishing agency. I did find this, which might give you a starting point.
