Do I need a top on my chicken run?

Thanks for the info. I kinda figured that I should put a top on it. Its just that, I've seen a lot of pix of coops and runs on here and a lot of them don't have tops on them. Why is this? Are they just brave or something.

Just remember that a raccoon can easily climb an untopped run and have a free chicken dinner on your bill.
