Do I need papers?

Hello, I was just wondering If I would need papers in order to sell my chickens and water fowl at the Neillsville small animal swap meet this week end?

I think swap meets tend to be very informal and since you may never see the sellers again - I would be very careful about buying or trading. It can be a great way to introduce something BAD( like disease, mites, lice, worms, respiratory illness etc.) plus being sold pullets that are cockerels or pure breds that are NOT. I'd say buyer beware to the highest degree.

If you do buy, please quarantine new chicks or birds for about 30 days to be sure, you are introducing bad things to your others.
