I gave mine course dirt from the yard once I started adding occasional treats; scratch, fruits, veggies, worms. Worms and rolly pollies were a bonus from digging up the dirt.
Do I need to buy chick grit for my baby chicks or can I use sand for then to eat almost 4 weeks old
