Do I need to clip my Pekin duck wings?

I have two pet Peking ducks for eggs. Do they fly? I would be heart broken if they fly away. If so when should I clip them?

No they do not fly at all. They might flap their wings but their not going to leave the ground. Enjoy your ducks I love pekins.

I was just wondering that same thing. We got 6 pekin ducks almost 2 months ago and was worried they would fly off.

Too fat to fly! But occasionally they will fly/run for treats, one of mine "flew" up 2 steps yesterday. It surprised me.
