Do i need to clip or file my goose's claws?

He is mostly an indoor goose so they probably dont wear down as much as they might outside in the wild - I don't know...is this even a thing?

I know some people do it for chickens that have their nails grow too long. There's a article around here somewhere on how to do it for a chicken, I think it'd be pretty similar for a goose.

I’ve seen someone on Facebook that just filed them a bit rather than cutting them, I’ve got all this to come when my two hatch lol

Since my geese live outdoors, I haven't had to worry about their feet. But, I do trim down the nails on my house chicken. When Dottie's nails get long enough to turn a bit when she walks, I use the same manual snippers that I use for my dog. I can't say any of us enjoy the pedicures but I think it's easier to do Dottie's two feet than to wrestle the dog.
