Do I need to dose flock on 10th day? What about new pullets?

Dosed the flock with Valbazen after finding round worms in poop. Do I need to dose again in 10 days? Also, am I supposed to dump eggs for 14 days from day 1 or from day 10? I also added 2 9 week old pullets to the flock yesterday. Days after worming mine. Do I need to give them valbazen as well? Don’t want to over medicate or dump eggs if not necessary. Any and all advice is welcome!

Yes, repeat the deworming in 10 days. Discard eggs from the last treatment date. I would definitely deworm any new birds, while they are in quarantine for the first 2 weeks ideally.

I would worm the new pullets as well. I would discard eggs from the first day of treatment and for 14 days after. Valbazen is albendazole, which is a wormer used in humans as well as animals. A small amount of residue may be found in eggs. Some people ignore this egg withdrawal time, while others prefer to toss eggs. The reason for a second dose after 10-14 days, is to get the worm eggs.

Maybe you mean discard from the first day of treatment to 14 days after the last day of treatment?
