Hi,
I'm working on a 6' long x 4' wide x 4' high hen house made out of 3/4" plywood and am wondering if I need to insulate it and with what? We have 5 hens, a Rhode Island Red, Silver Laced Wyandotte, Buff Orpington, Gold Comet (Red Sex Link) and a Barred Rock. From what I gather, they are all pretty hardy breeds. I live in extreme northern Wisconsin and we get some pretty cold temps. Some sites say insulate, others say don't, some say use a heat lamp....any suggestions?
Thanks,
Brad
