Do I need to remove all these rocks from run?

Have just got a fenced in area for monitored "ranging". Most of it is covered by rocks I placed there in the past as a "patio". Pic is an example area, DH's feet ( size 12) show the size of the rocks.

I think I need to remove most if not all, any opines?

Why? They're too big to eat...
Suppose you stack a few up for giving them higher views?

Extra work is no fun! I would leave them unless they were needed elsewhere.

DH loves both of these answers ... so do I. Likely will move a few to surround the inside fence line to keep those gals from digging out.

I would leave them as well. You might get some entertainment from moving them every week or 2. The chickens will love the fresh dirt and bugs that gather under the rocks. Give it a few weeks then move them again and let the chickens go at the "new" dirt and bugs that gather under the rocks.
