Do I need to seperate my babys from adults?

Not worried about the deformities, I just don't need anymore ducks after this hatch. I don't want to get ride of my drake, I just don't want the female to go broody. So I collect the eggs everyday.

Never thought of that. I just chuck them in the big pond in our backyard, feed the snapping turtles.

I hate snapping turtles. Last year it got one of my geese, and ripped the top of her beak right off, up into her sinus cavity. It was horrible. She was just walking around. We had to put her down. I felt so bad.

Our neighbor was catching the snapping turtles and releasing them far away. He's a duck hunter and was giving back to nature. He built duck wood duck houses and mallard houses. My duck have no access to the pond. I would not be able to coral them up at night. I think there are some snapping turtle left in the pond. He was catching one at least once a week. The last one was around 18 inches wide. There are 6 pairs of wild ducks in the pond now. One mallard pair has one baby. I haven't seen any other babies yet.
