I have been told that Newcastle disease is a big problem in Cambodia and someone suggested that I vaccinate my three ducklings (7 weeks and 4 weeks) and two goslings (2 weeks) for it.
We went to the feed store and the only vaccine they had was 'Fowl Cholera Vaccine' that contains inactivated culture of Pasteurella multocida. They said we have to inject it.
Do I actually need this vaccine for my little flock? If so, what age do they need it and what dosage?
And: what about Newcastle Disease? Is there a vaccination for that and what age would my ducks and geese need it?
I should add that my flock is in contact with chickens--our neighbors' chickens often wander into our yard and I would say there's a high probability that they aren't vaccinated for anything.
