I had one quail chick hatch last night around 7 pm, more than 12 hours ago. While there are several more on the way, he is all dry and fluffy and sleepy looking. I know quail can't stay without food and water as long as other chicks. Should I put them in the brooder by himself or wait until it's been a full 24 hours and hopefully he has Buddies?

As long as he's not too active, and not moving the other eggs around too much, he's fine. If he gets too active, moving the other eggs around, then remove him, but do it very quickly.

If I do have to remove him, it'll be when I check the egg I had to assist a little bit because it pipped at the wrong end and was zipping the long way around.

But, it looks like the popcorn effect is starting :) just had one more pop out, and several others started zipping.
