My eyes keep getting drawn to an auction listing at the top of the main BYC page.

I have 14 adult chickens, 31 chicks that are still not transitioned to their coop yet.

Chicken poo everywhere.

The listing is for peacocks.

So...do I want to die now or later?

I promised DH no more pets, except those of the poultry persuasion. Silly man, he thinks that means only chickens.

Yeah- I snuck in an order of geese. "It was the last hatch of the year- I HAD to get them!" Luckily they are hilarious and DH likes them

haha I just saw the same add and sighed. Now is not my time, but if it's yours than your DH shouldn't be able to resist those pretty birds in the yard.
