Do 'just laid' eggs need to sit before setting?

I just saw her lay the egg and want to add it to the group I set yesterday. I've only ever incubated shipped or refrigerated eggs and I always let them sit for about 12 hours first. So.....do freshly laid eggs need to sit? Or just stick em in? lol

You should let it cool for an hour to prevent condensation, then you can put it in.
