    I thought I'd won the battle with them last winter. Today I was looking under the feathers of a hen, and she's crawling (well, maybe not that bad) with them. So is the goat. I guess it isn't an immediate health risk, but [​IMG]. [​IMG] Sigh. They must be living in the old wood of the barn. Drat it all! If it isn't ONE thing it is another........[​IMG]

    i have used the lice powder at tsc for birds and worked good, i prefer not to use that sort of thing unless nessasary but i could not locate any DE in a timely fashion. maby you should dust your barn with the DE and that would probably kill any in there and your chickens.
