Do my Buff Orphingtons need a heat lamp for the winter (Michigan)

We don't heat. We do heat the water to keep it from freezing. They do fine.

No heat with my Buffs and australorps, was 28 below 2 winters ago with no problem

I was trying to decide myself, my babies are only 8 weeks old, but they have beautiful feathers and they hate to be all cooped up unless its too cold or it's night time... I lock them everynight.. Im in VA. It has dropped into the 30s here at night and was in the 40's in the mornings... but they didn't seem to mind, they was outside all day... but I'm not sure if it gets colder should I put the lamp on, I'm only worried because they are soo young
