Hello All,
I am new to this forum and have only been keeping chickens for a year. I have 21 all together that are free range in 2 acres for a few hours a day and then kept in a large pen which is mainly bare earth. They are fed on layers pellets and their shelter is full of dust-extracted sawdust which I clean out once a week.
They have been wormed about 4 months ago using Flubenvet as they had tapeworm. Then yesterday when I was cleaning them out I removed the brooding hens briefly from their boxes so I could clean them out. I noticed quite a few teeny black flies buzzing in the sawdust there. Then when I went to leave the pen I saw three fresh poos with these yellow flecks in, could they be worm eggs? I have never seen anything like it before?
Feeling sorry for them and like I've let them down, please help
Thank you so much.
