Hi all!

One of my healthiest chickens just pooped a bunch of white worms.

I clean their coop regularly and it’s the first time I see this.

What treatment should I give them?

I have safeguard for goats. Also, what’s the dose and should I stop eating their eggs while I treat them?

Thank you!!

I am not sure what the dose is for that form of safeguard. I use the safeguard paste tube and give them a pea size dot into the mouth. Hopefully someone can advise you on that form.

Also, I'm not sure what the withdrawal period is for the drug. It's recommended to not eat their eggs until the withdrawal period is over.

Safeguard dose is 0.23ml per pound of weight given orally once a day for 5 days in a row. I can't help with the withdrawal period because I keep eating the eggs as normal whenever I worm.
@fowltemptress has given the correct dosing for the Safeguard.

If you wish to observe a withdrawal period, it's 14 days after the last dose.
