Do my chicks need something or just clingy??😅

I’m concerned that my chicks need something because they chirp CONSTANTLY, but here’s the kicker…not when I leave the room. Or at night. But the second I walk past them they are chirping like crazy. Do chicks do that for attention? Their heat is fine, food and water is fresh. We do handle them and snuggle them a lot so maybe they’re just spoiled??

Happens to me every time I have chicks! Make sure they're not cold and you have your heat source accurate, but you have to let them cry it out a bit. Upside is that it means they've bonded to you!

Clingy. I left a rag in a corner and then lightly wrapped them in it. They could exit whenever they wanted to without disturbing another chick in there. Bought me an hour of pure silence

They'll still be loud when there is no issue. When they are making a VERY loud siren-like call something is wrong. At least they are mostly quieter than the birds outside my window that declare everyone must be awake at 5 am!
