Do my females need a drake?

We have 4 female ducks 4 months old. I assume it’s OK to have all females? Would there be a reason besides fertilization to have male with them? They seem happy and get along fine without a mate, but will introduce one if it’s better for their health or well-being.

Nope, no need besides for more ducks

Nope ! I had four females for three years, great layers, acted as a flock - no need for boys !

When we eventually did introduce a drake - they exlcuded him like the Mean Girls that they are

Relented eventually but that was after his relentless nagging.

P.S - your ducks are lovely !
