Between school and work I'm often not home until like 7-ish, so when I go to collect eggs and lock the coop it's generally dark out (hopefully that won't last much longer though, can't stand winter) and I always talk the whole way to the coop, I talk opening the door to the run, I talk opening the door to the coop, and I show my face with a flashlight and talk before I try to touch any of them.
