I'm new at raising ducks.. and I thought I could sleep with marbles (my fist duckling) because they move a lot. I woke up to find him gone.. I killed him. so PLEASE DONT SLEEP WITH THEM, No matter how cute they are!

rip marbles.. I'm so so so so sorry. I had no idea that this would happen, I've been sleeping with him for days and days and everytime he would move id wake up immediately. I feel so guilty it's eating me alive, he was my baby.. we were with eachother all the time and cuddled constantly. I should've known that this would happen.

I don't think anyone knows quite what to say to you here. I've been thinking for hours about what to say. First of all, maybe you should remove the pic of Marbles? I know I find it quite upsetting to see that.

I am so very sorry about what happened, but I sure hope you learned something from this. I'm not going to tell you why this was a really bad idea, because I know you already know that now. So very sad for you and Marbles. That's all I can say.

Oh please take this picture down. It's so upsetting, even for those of us who didn't know Marbles. A long time ago, my friend had a house chick, which she insisted on sleeping with. The chick became tangled in her long hair during the night and suffocated. Probably not a good idea to sleep with anything that small. So sorry.

Speaking from experience I can tell you that it's it's not safe even when they are bigger because they can overheat very easily.
