Sadly, we lost our dear Jett today. I let all the chicks out of the run to free range in the yard as usual. We have 2 dogs, a lab and pug, who usually get along amazingly with all the chicks. I was out with them and went back inside the house, 15 minutes later I went back out and poor Jet was dead...I feel so guilty and I am so upset over the incident. I really trusted my dogs around them, thet were introduced slowly and always under control. PLEASE do not let your guard down where other pets are concerned, especially dogs. Sometimes I think they just get too protective of their yard and owners...who knows. We will miss Jett, she was by far our favorite.
