Hey, we have a buff orpiton with 5 other chickens. We were out of town for a couple of weeks, and we come back and she is pale, lethargic, and around 1450-1480 ml weight ( measured her on a container zeroed out on our food scale, I think around 3 pounds.) she does get bulled by the biggest hen occasionally, as we have no rosters. Was let out every other day while we were gone. What should I do? Also she was standing in the yard, not interacting with other chickens or digging for bugs. Around 3/4 years old. Losing feathers, so could be a molt, but normally weighs 2000 ml ( don’t know the pound conversion )

If she is easily bullied, she may not have been allowed to eat or drink every other day while penned inside the coop and run. I would take her aside and feed separately with some wet chicken feed, a little egg, tuna, or canned cat food daily. Probiotics could help as well as worming her. During molting chickens may feel listless, and not eat as well.

Ok, we bought got a mini coop today for her to be separated, but I will definitely try wet food! Thanks!
