Do Oyster shells go bad?

These are the wife's chickens, but I have to admit I do enjoy watching them. I also enjoy the building process, it is just finding the time to get everything done.

I did find out owning chickens is not a cost effective way to get eggs. Start up cost are a killer; I figure if eggs ever get up to seventy five dollars a dozen I will be able to brake even in about five years. ;-)

The first egg costs a thousand dollars. After that they're free.
