Do quail get aggressive during late spring and early summer?

One of my female jumbo quail has started chasing and pulling the feathers on two of my other females. I separated her for a day but since I returned her, one of the females is starting to look picked on again. They've been together since hatching and I've never had any problems with these birds until now.

Sometimes coturnix quail can turn into bullies for what seems like no reason at all. I would separate for a longer period of time, try a week, in a sectioned off area of your enclosure if possible. If not, somewhere within eyesight.

Also check there's nothing else triggering the aggression (difficulty getting to food/water, not enough protein in food, not enough space, bullied birds having underlying health problems)

Doing this has always solved any female bulling in my quails.
